I've updated the tagging for way way/1242057519 which was tagged as "motorway" in this changeset, which seemed like a mistake.

If the way has a few steps, you can try to split the path you have created into a few chunks, and the part with steps can be tagged with highway=steps (see the wiki for more info).

You can have a look at this area for instance which contains several paths with steps osm.org/#map=19/59.30136/18.04175 (feel free to inspect the area with the editor to get a better grasp of how things are done).

It looks like some of these roads you added are mostly farm-related roads that would be better tagged as "highway=track" rather than "highway=unclassified"

Unclassified roads according to osm.wiki/Highway_Tag_Africa are meant to represent connections between settlments.

I have changed the roads to be "tracks" in this changeset changeset/108912258 :)

It wasn't :) I mapped a lot of the valley using Norway Ortophoto.
I realized that I might have also changed stuff in Polynesia. I hope that wasn't a mistake, I was just trying to get an understanding on how things were set up there (the island of Nuku Alofa is so well mapped). If I changed something that was wrong please let me know.
