I can confirm that the barriers were in place at the time of my survey (2025-04-21 at 6:30pm).

I am informed that several complaints about the trail closure have been filed with MnDOT, so possibly they are taking steps to re-open the trail outside of construction hours. (There is no work being done on the trail, as I understand it. The concern is presumably about falling debris from I94.)

I'm okay with re-opening. In theory, one might tag `opening_hours`, but I don't think that is knowable without additional information from MnDOT (and, per the website, the trail is expected to fully re-open May 2nd).
