Responded via the community forum, where Shashp has raised this concern: https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/question-regarding-road-classifications-for-monaro-kings-and-snowy-mountains-highways/122624/5

Hi Shashp,
Over New Years I came across the change in road classification for the Barry Way and Snowy River Road. (I regularly visit the area this time of year).

I was surprised to see my GPS display this as a 'track', when it is a 'secondary' road in accordance with the tagging guidelines: osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines/Roads

Your changeset notes that this road is unsuitable for 2wds. This is not the case, with the road being accessible for 2wds, as long as they drive to the conditions. Acknowledging that people who have only driven in city conditions will find this road a bit more confronting, but still meets the definitions. While in the area I saw quite a few 2wd vehicles on the road, with no modifications for high clearance and no issues in navigating the road.

The changes include paved sections of the road now being tagged as 'track'.

If their is a routing issue, than the routing engine requires updates, or the users need to ensure they select paved roads only.

I propose to revert the changes back to the road's status of the 'secondary' as per the tagging guidelines.

Hi, I just came across the "High Grade Iron Ore Bar" on the map, and thought it was an unusual spot for a bar/drinking location with quite long opening hours.
I was unable to find anything else online and thought I would check to see if this was tagged in error?
