Sorry to hear that. Truly. But... What? Path is path. It can be paved and wide flat or vertical barely noticable path. You just can't blame map or mappers for decisions that people made. Trail runners in mountainous areas hardly choose "comfortable round-trip" path. Also, back then, there was warning signs about danger, before descent from parking lot. It is hardly belivable, that Johann wouldn't went into that route whatever tags this path contains, when warning signs or landscape itself didn't stop him. Yes I did hike it and recorded GPS track. Don't know how to estimate difficulty now, it was 7 years ago. But not for tourists for sure.
