I do want to ask... in this mountain region of Georgia, its a common to have a none-standard shape of a buildings. They are mostly village type houses. Often they are re-constructed over time, parts and sections of the building added, causing a rather irregular building shapes.

The quality of the satellite images are not high enough to always been able to 'see' all corners of the building, so I do my best to draw the shape as close as possible to actual building shadow.

Some of those building I can see clearly when I drive pass on the highway, but most are hidden in a treeline.

As far as using features of Merkaartor - Axis Aling, I want to clarify... is it preferable to have a prefect rectangular shape of the building even tho it would not reflect actual, real shape of a building?
Please let me know... this is new to me and I would appreciate your advise and guidance.
