over 5 years ago | What was your source for the address data on these edits?
over 5 years ago | A lot of us travel and use OpenStreetMap data for directions as well; this is a group project. You may want to refer to the wiki at osm.wiki as well as my follow-up changes in both Rapid City and the Kennedy Space Center area to get a better idea of the standardized tagging we use to map.
over 5 years ago | Unless the building has been demolished, the address information is probably still valid and should be left intact. amenity/shop/office, cuisine, name, phone, website can be deleted from the nodes without deleting everything.
over 5 years ago | Please note that the on-/off-ramps to/from motorways should be highway=motorway_link, not highway=motorway.
over 5 years ago | What was your logic in classifying way/469149807 as unclassified? It looks more like service to me.
over 5 years ago | The address of the building is still 4540 Kingwood Drive. Please do not remove the address information just because the grocery store has closed.
over 5 years ago | Good work, you beat me to it. :-)
over 5 years ago | What kind of minor fix stretches across most of the central to eastern US? And what did you fix? I mean, we can almost see it's a "fix" by the fact it's an edit, so the changeset comment doesn't even tell us anything useful.
over 5 years ago | The proper name of this church is "Saint Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Chruch" and that is what should go in the name tag. If you know it is a "Greek church" but have no further details that goes in description=* or in a note saying something like "Greek church, not sure of exact name". I have made the appropriate corrective edits.
over 5 years ago | Oops. This was not surveyed, this was only from Keep Right.
over 5 years ago | Also, we already know it's a "content update" so that's not a useful changeset comment. "Add stones, heath, buildings, foot path" etc is more along the type of changeset comment I would use.
over 5 years ago | Oops, this changeset also used Maxar Premium Imagery (Beta) which was omitted from the original submission tags.
over 5 years ago | @watildon -- unfortunately this type of changeset is typical of the output of maps.me and there is no way to fix it (other than convincing DWG to block it from submitting until the authors agree to a fix).
over 5 years ago | Hi, Please note that "and" is also not valid opening_hours syntax. I have corrected your entries.
over 5 years ago | Please review the proper syntax for opening_hours=* at <opening_hours=*>. In particular, please note the proper use of parentheses and that 24 hour times are used (e.g. 13:00 for the first hour after noon, not 1:00 pm).
over 5 years ago | Correction, previously mapped building outline, not a newly mapped one.
over 5 years ago | Hi, and welcome to OpenStreetMap! Please note that the opening_hours tag has a specific format (two letter weekday abbreviations, 24 hour times), see <opening_hours=*>. Also, most if not all of the values used in the cuisine tag do not conform to existing community consensus, see <cuisine=*>. cuisine=* is not intended to replace the menu but merely to give a rough idea of what type of food or beverages are available.
over 5 years ago | This shows up as a changeset in Houston, Texas, US (and for that matter, a huge chunk of the US including everything east of the Mississippi), even though I doubt there were any changes made there. There is no reason to have all of this in one changeset; it is much easier to see what is changed and where if it is broken into smaller changesets.
over 5 years ago | Smaller areas per changeset, please. This one covers (apparently) almost the whole planet.
over 5 years ago | Should also have "upgrade fuel to roof outline"
