Oops, this changeset also had a bunch of buildings I added that should have been separate.

For future reference, I would call this (and have retagged it as) a gift/souvenir shop even though they sell other items (shop=gift).

When changing a highway to one way (adding oneway=yes) please double check the lane counts and remove any tags such as lanes:forward, lanes:backward, turn:lanes:forward, turn:lanes:backward, etc that indicate attributes of the road segment when it carried two-way traffic. Unfortunately, you will have to look at the tags each time you do this as iD does not currently show lane counts and lane use (unlike JOSM which can be set up to do so).

I'll take care of it. If it's a gift/souvenir shop those can be tagged with shop=gift. If it's more of a convenience store for campers, shop=convenience, etc. The main reason this came up on my radar is I was searching for shop=yes as this particular key/value is next to useless now (it no longer renders on the default carto layer and doesn't really tell you much, especially with no name or other information).

If you remember, what is/was way/288262403, tagged only as shop=yes with no name or other information?

OK. Do you know if it's still open? Also, be aware that with only shop=yes, it will not show up in the normal map layer (this is why I change things from shop=yes to almost anything else, even if not technically correct).

This also included changes in/near Santa Fe and Albuquerque. For some reason the changeset comment did not update correctly.

What is your data source for Shrine in Albuquerque, NM? If a survey, why nothing more specific than shop=yes? Also, where's the address (since the changeset comment refers to adding addresses)?

In the future, please be sure to add lanes=* with the lane count when adding turn:lanes=*. Otherwise, JOSM's validator and other QA tools will throw warnings or even errors and some software which uses the lane count data may not see the correct number of lanes.

Sorry for the noise, indeed it does look like that came from an older edit.

A lot of the rest of opening_hours syntax is going to be confusing the first time someone sees it, too (we still have people just chucking freeform rubbish into the tag value, not realizing there's an agreed-upon machine parsable syntax). It's only confusing or counter-intuitive until you realize what it means, then it makes perfect sense.

Do we know if there are any data users that have issues handling times past 24:00? This has been part of the spec for at least a couple of years if not since the very beginning.

I think maybe it's best not to use this particular "correction" for now since at best we have two QA tools that disagree on what's allowable.
