Maybe this is better still ...

natural=sand

"flat areas with a sand surface that are water covered at high tide but exposed at low tide - use natural=wetland + wetland=tidalflat + surface=sand instead."

You are correct - wrong link. natural=beach I didn't touch the coastline - I touched the beach only and only those beaches mapped down to the low tide mark.

Example: osm.org/edit#map=16/56.1922/-2.8720

Previously: Beach was mapped down to the coastline = low tide.
Now: Beach mapped at high tide and large tidal bay added as wetland/tidal + surface/sand.

Have I done something wrong? Beach mapped at high tide line appears to be the same way its mapped round other parts of Scotland ...

Hey.

Sorted = yes.

Background: I was working here, osm.org/edit#map=17/56.18737/-2.84948, when I noticed that someone had mapped the beach at low tide rather than high per instructions here to mark at high tide:
natural=coastline I started the job then realised it was much larger than expected and it was getting late. Better to roll it back and look at it again another time when I have the time to do it properly.

Thanks for checking though - I appreciate it!
