Do you mean you would prefer having those tiny blue arrows in cyclosm instead of the blue lane? To be honest, after months using cyclosm, never noticed that these little arrows indicate a bicycle lane.

I would consider that this is indeed a protected bike lane. It is at a different height to that of cars and the maximum speed for those is limited at 30km/h. You could add more security feature, for sure, but it is as good as we have in this city.
