Hi, uoc stands for University of Chichester.
Our maps site puts a text label in most cases where there are steps:
https://maps.chi.ac.uk/brc
Someone recently deleted loads of the [name = Steps] fields, which removed our labels, therefore we created a new uocname field in the hope that it wouldn't be altered.
We can't just use the [highway = steps] field because we don't want all our steps on-campus having a text label.
