I believe "amenity=plater" is supposed to be a "planter"?
Anyway, they are not really amenities and are usually tagged as man_made=planter, see man_made=planter

Pozdrav,
mozda bi ovdje umjesto
type=multipolygon & natural=mountain
bolje odgovaralo (kao npr. u Alpama)
type=boundary & place=region & region:type=mountain_area

Hi Fillo, looks like you changed the whole Adriatic sea into a beach :)
relation/9350128
I think you should revert this back to place=sea

Hi ceyu,
I originally only intended to correct the tag (from man_made=entrance to proper entrance=yes).
Then I saw that (1) it is on a very unusual place (the very corner node of two buildings) and also that (2) there is another properly tagged entrance less then 5m away.
That is why I assumed it was an entry error/duplicate and deleted it. Sorry!
I reverted my changeset (recreating the entrance on the original position), but additionally converted the tag from man_made to entrance.
As you are there “on the ground” maybe you could check if that corner position is indeed correct? 😊

Hi,

I agree completely :)
Name tags should be used only for proper names if they exist, not for generic descriptions. Also, here in Croatia name tags should be in Croatian (with exceptional English versions using name:en)
One of the former bases was tagged as a building (the entire area!) so I removed that and just latter noticed the names!
BTW operator tags are also not right: there is no such operator as "ex-JNA" and it certainly doesn't "operate" around here anymore ;)

Hi Tjuro,

I tried to fix the silly "landuse=yes" areas.
Went with "leisure=park" at first, but this doesn't quite fit here.
As I only have access to (possibly obsolete) satellite imagery, I used overpass-turbo to see how local users tagged similar landuses.
To my surprise "landuse=village_green" (a tag that I wouldn't normally use myself) is widely used so I went with that...
One example: way/111045290

Was hoping someone local will change it to a more appropriate tag.
Please feel free to fix it if you have a better suggestion! ;)

regards,
Ranko

natural=coastline & place=islet/island definiraju obalu i otoke! Bez ovih oznaka Jabuka npr. vise nije otok!!! Ako zelis definirati bare_rock i slicno, nacrtaj novi dodatni polygon, ne brisi postojeci coastline...

Ovo *obavezno* treba popraviti i vratiti natrag (Jabuka, Mala Palagruza i ostali otocici)!!!

pozdrav, rj

Yes, you are right, that is not a pier according to this definition. Usually here in Dalmatia such structures are mapped as part of the coastline and breakwater is used only for the extended structure (boulders/rocks) used to actually "break" the water. I modified the coastline to include this area. Once the coastline gets updated in OSM I will remove the western/inner breakwater and leave only the eastern/outer one.

I was in Jelsa from 20.-30.09. and arrived on that catamaran :) I suppose that was only a temporary location on Saturday. Jelsa Harbour is open to bura and not very safe. There is also a container where tickets are sold on the main pier but it seems somebody deleted it in OSM in the meantime :(

BTW.: man_made=breakwater when defined as closed way needs an "area=yes" tag to properly display in Carto; for the pier itself I would suggest man_made=pier as before

Hello Vadim,
I see you moved the ferry (catamaran) terminal in Jelsa…
Two days ago it was still on the main pier, and it seems it is still there according to the webcam at
