Agreed that the parking lane tagging scheme is not very mapper-friendly, but I do think it's an improvement compared to 0-dimensional nodes. Eventually we should have the parts where cars park perpendicular to the road mapped as areas, and the road-tagging should be a 1-dimensional intermediate stage.
SC has a nice layer in which streetside parking can be seen and added https://fliessbaden.de/wp-content/uploads/Screenshot_2023-08-29-12-50-10-62_8a0120479a21d3140f77758520f645bd-525x1024.jpg

OK. Next time it would be better to not delete the other shop, but edit its tags and move it to its correct location. See osm.wiki/Keep_the_history

Hi, thanks for adding this shop. However I think it's unlikely to be a completely new shop space, and more likely that it replaces another shop that has stopped working. It would then be better not to create a new node, but to edit the node of the previous shop. Can you check this?

I was in Musagenitsa today and started to remove some of the car park nodes you added and tagging the parking as streetside parking instead because I think it describes the parking better than even a car park area. I hope you agree...
I also noticed that you added a few car park nodes where the parking was already mapped as streetside parking before (see here way/26427297 for instance) so you may want to check if there are parking:* tags on the road already before adding a car park node...

Again this addition is full of mistakes. Please note these and create an internal guidebook for adding your clients' businesses on OSM.
1. Please check when adding the business if there wasn't a business at the same location that's already on OSM. In this case there's Paloma fashion already there, and because on the cadastral map there's only one shop space at that location, I believe that Bliki nails has replaced it. Then do not create a new node, but edit the already existing node.
2. In Bulgaria, we add addresses to buildings. If the business is on a building that already has an address, do not repeat it on the business node unless it is different.
3. Do not use the description tag to advertise the business. The description tag is only to add details that cannot be added using a tag.
4. Opening hours have to follow a strict format so that it is machine-readable. See opening_hours=* for details, and use this tool to check if the opening hours value is without errors https://openingh.openstreetmap.de/evaluation_tool/
5. Phone numbers should be in international format so should start with +359 for Bulgaria
I made the necessary edits on your business. Please do these yourself next time!

Hi, thanks for your efforts to improve the map. However I don't thin k it is a good diea to add this former tram line, because there's hardly any trace left of it. On OSM, we map what's there now, not what used to be there (although there are exceptions). See here for an explanation railway=razed
This tram line has been gone for many years, so I don't think it should be added to the map.

Hi, thanks for editing this new roundabout. However, please take into account junction=roundabout#Connecting_ways 2nd bullet for any future roundabouts you are mapping. See also https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/bulgaria-fix-incorrect-junctions-on-roundabouts/108338 I will make corrections on this one. Oh, and close the note when it's been resolved...

Me too!

OK, I though you might have added them based on survey or street images. The ones in Dianabad are quite established, many with grass paver surfaces, so I don't think they will change soon. I just removed 2 in Darvenitsa that were very informal: I don't think we want to endorse them as car parks.
The tagging scheme to map streetside parking is quite new I think so we can't expect that data consumers are already showing those, but I think it's quite an elegant way to map cars parked parallel or perpendicular to the street.
I hope you will get to map them as areas soon. You could prioritise the ones I tagged as parking=surface (and map their parking aisles too)

Hi, thanks for all these edits! However at node/14073046003 there is a typo in the opening_hours. Could you correct the Sunday closing time?

186198820

Hi Mitko, I've been going around Dianabad these days answering SC quests about them. I found that many of them are parking=street_side i.e. cars parked perpendicular to the street. I think it would be better to map these according to osm.wiki/Street_parking so the length of the parking and parking parallel to the street can be recorded. SC has a layer that makes this very easy, but I hardly use it because I'm not very interested in street parking. I used it on this way way/863531032 as an example. Would you like to pick this up?

Hi, thanks for your many good edits! However I noticed there are sometimes typos in the opening hours you enter, for instance for "Handmade Tania Vanovska" (what time does it open on Saturday?).
If you type opening hours, a mistake is easily made so maybe you could enter them here https://openingh.openstreetmap.de/evaluation_tool/ and check them for errors...

Thanks for your reply. I will give it the same tags as the others, then. It's not really a milestone (they are not placed at regular distances) but a trail marker. I moved the text in name= to inscription=Π‘ΠΎΠ·ΠΎΠΏΠΎΠ» 0.00 ΠΊΠΌ (it' not really a name of the stone)

Hi, thanks for adding this. However service_times=03:00-23:00 means that the imam is leading prayer every day from 3 am to 11 pm. I think you mean opening_hours=03:00-23:00 (the door of the mosque is open between these times very day)?

186124091

Hi, seems there's a typo in the opening hours of Ekaterina beauty. Should "afr" be "Fr"?

185549207

Hi, I saw you made an edit to node node/14000582356/ I will add a 0 to the opening hours (should be 00:00). I noticed that there is another former restaurant node nearby that you last edited 2 years ago. Are these restaurants in the same space? Then it would be better if the data of the Home restaurant were added to the node for Crouton restaurant, and the Home restaurant node deleted.

Hi, welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for adding information to mosques in Bulgaria! I am wondering if you correctly used the "service_times" tag for this information. It is normally used for Christian churches to describe the Sunday mass time, i.e. when prayers are held in the church. The Muslim equivalent would be the Salah times, which should be the same for every mosque and variable during the year so it's not very useful to add these to every mosque. Maybe you meant to add the opening hours? For that it's better to use the "opening_hours" tag.
You also added information if the mosque has an imam. I think it is better to add this information using the "description" tag because it is more likely to be displayed by apps that use the data, and to use the Bulgarian language.

Hi, Thanks for adding this. Is this the marker of the start of the Camino Bulgaria, like in this picture https://caminobg.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/IMG_0883.jpg ? I've been asked to add all 13 to the map, and I don't want to add a duplicate

Thanks for solving my note. But the ruins=yes should stay with the building to the east... moved it back.
Why did you move the tags to a new node? Shouldn't they be on the building?
