I have only recently reduced my edit comments with the understanding that any comment relates only to the particular way, area or point that has been edited and the comment should not be taken to extend to any other ways, areas or points or relations for that matter.

My intention was not to remove the Microcarpa Hike relation altogether from OSM. It was simply to remove the Microcarpa Hike relation with respect to that paticular way being Carawatha Track given this part of the track does not appear to be part of Microcarpa Hike on the number of sources I reviewed of which the one I quoted was only one. I believe this is what I have done with this part of Carawatha Track still remaining in OSM.

Additionally if Carawatha Track was part of the Microcarpa Hike and its relation it would form a spur to nowhere in particular to the overall loop circuit of Microcarpa Hike which would seem odd.

If this part of Carawatha Track is formally part of Microcarpa Hike I would be curious to see the authorative documentation or onsite signage that indicates this.

If I have misinterpreted what you have stated or if I have got this wrong in any way please feel free to undo or correct my edit.

Thanks for the advice. I will see if I can change the source for that changeset and use the term 'Survey' for onsite knowledge source in future.

Maybe I should have stated instead that the source was personal onsite inspection and onsite advice by a National Park Campground Host that camping is not allowed past this particular point of Lakeside Track. That particular visit was some years ago but the last campsite location hasn't changed judging by the current online National Parks pdf map.

Your reason for deleting the site from OSM is not adequate. The Qld Heritage Register was not the source of geographical location. I have visted the site and personally located it, before access was stopped by the current leasees. Please more fully explain the reason for deletion. In quoting the Qld Heritage Register only the formal name of the monument was taken as the source.

You would have noted that I had added the source tag of GPS given the path was tracklogged with GPS. I'm curious as to why you queried this given this tag? Regarding changeset comments which I presume you are also alluding to, I find the Vespucci editor, which was used in the field for this particular edit, awkward to use seemingly requiring a comment for each and every upoload. Although I am still working out how to use Vespucci.

Thankyou Bert for picking up that duplication of tags. I did import the ways from Vicmap as .shp files which brought in the unnecessary tags. I have deleted the road_name'' tag and other unnecessary ímported tags.
