We are reviewing the TomTom edits in the region which have the same issues currently and we will take corrective action on them one by one. Thank you for reverting the changeset and for communicating your concerns on the map quality. Your comments, guidance, and patience on this matter are much appreciated.

I would like to clarify that the changes were made based on OSM Wiki guidance related to functional highway classification rather than navigation data. The intention was to align the tagging with highway importance and network hierarchy as defined in OSM documentation.
However, I understand that there may be existing local mapping patterns and community practices in this region. I appreciate your perspective and the effort you take to maintain consistency in the highway network.
To avoid future conflicts and to improve mapping quality together, could we please align on the preferred approach for highway classification in this area? If there are community-approved references or mapping guidelines for this region, I would be grateful if you could share them so I can follow the same standard going forward.

We will remove same once construction completed.

thank you very much for spotting that issue. Mistakenly I used one changeset for 2 different geographical features. I will be more cautious while performing the edits going further.
