Thanks for clarifying Mario. I understand now, that it is not as easy as I was hoping for ... Maybe in the future, this feature of outlining major planned projects will become part of OSM ... maybe as an overlay? Anyway, have a nice day, and thanks a lot for working on OSM.

... and I do agree, things can change.

But then we just update the rough outline, right?

Hi Mario,

Thanks, but it says "We may therefore wish to show planned roads, railways, routes (airports, other features...) on the map". Or are you referring to something else?

Regardless, it's a planned, major change to the physical world, and since the purpose of a map is to give a visual representation of the physical world, it is an eligible entity fit for getting mapped.

Since the building has begun, as can be seen if you visit the place, the project and the plan is in progress, and it would be nice to get a feeling for the end result, by putting it on the map, even if it is only an approximation.

I look forward to hear your opinion.

Cheers,
Ragit

Should we add the outline of the planned Lynetteholmen, as seen on this image?

The tag could be proposed=residential

Thanks! It looks like only street, city, county, state, country and postalcode are searched for via the openstreetmap.org search form.

I didn't realize your link was a shortened URL, to a search with extra parameters, so I found this shorter method for apple trees search at https://overpass-turbo.eu/ where the search is only the visible area:

node[description="æbletræ"] ({{bbox}});
out;

Your search, limited to Denmark:

// fetch area “Danmark” to search in
{{geocodeArea:Danmark}}->.searchArea;
// gather results
(
// query part for: “description="æbletræ"”
node["description"="æbletræ"](area.searchArea);
way["description"="æbletræ"](area.searchArea);
relation["description"="æbletræ"](area.searchArea);
);
// print results
out;

Thanks, overpass-turbo.eu could work, but doesn't look too user friendly ... I think searching via openstreetmap.org would be better, if at all possible. I will expand the Use Case:

"As a user, I want to be able to search on openstreetmap.org for æbletræ, and get a list of æbletræer."

Isn't that possible? Do you know which fields are searchable directly on openstreetmap.org?

Right. Use Case:

"As a user, I want to be able to search for æbletræ, and get a list of æbletræer."

Like I wrote, I simply want to enable finding this, and other apple trees with this search:

osm.org/search?query=æbletræ

Would adding "æbletræ" to another field work better?

Tak for at følge op, og godt det blev opklaret, for jeg kan se at det wiki-tag jo har en del data, som det ville være ærgerligt at miste

Tak for link, meget brugbart!

I didn't visit that page when I started, I just went ahead and created the POI ...
It is not possible to show a little box about this when a Danish POI is being created?

Thanks for clearing that up. I wonder if there is a way to let the user know that, during creation of a new unit?

This update of 110 records seem to remove the address. Is this intentional?

Yes, I just visited the street, and the end of the Karen Blixen Vej is blocked, right after the entrance at #2. Also, Karen Blixen Plads is currently a fenced in construction site, and not at all accessible. Karen Blixen Vej might continue along the Karen Blixen Plads eventually, but not right now.
