@Daniel Specht , these buildings and dwellings are all along the D225. So the are no residential or unclassified Roads nearby. @Stephen Nguyen added only buildings. So he did nothing wrong in this case.

Hallo uliwanne,
kannst du das tagging noch berichtigen?

osm.wiki/DE:Tag:amenity%3Dplace_of_worship
denomination wäre je 1 mal:
roman_catholic,jehovahs_witness,mormon und wahrscheinlich pentecostal

Das "hospital" würde ich eher als "clinic" einstufen.

Hello YEWmappy,
thank you very much. I am also just a remote contibutor. Someone may add a note if the placement is wrong. Do you map at the request of Apple customers?

Hi Ralph,
thank you for reviewing the data. Josm is not complaining as long as the road is connected to the waterway. I think because a ford is the only reasonable possibility in such a case. But anyway, I have now tagged some intersections as ford

Zoom in until the scale ends at 3m or 5m. Draw a 2m or 3m line directly under the scale. While the line is still selected, press "shift" + "o" Move the circle to the desired position. A truck is up to 2.4m wide. An unclassified road should allow oncoming traffic when one of the vehicles stops at one side. Please check also if the measurement plug-in is activated

this roads were splited because of the ref tag. Now they are merged an this is certainly wrong. Please do not touch things that you don't understand.

Hello,
we are not allowed to use Google (link above) as a source for our maps. But I think you can use it to learn how fast African cities change. You can't draw a perfect map, once for all time. Instead of guessing, it's much better to come back regularly. And only draw in or change things you are pretty sure about. Nobody would build two expensive bridges to cross a stupid dirt road in a poor country like this.

hi cartorhythm,
the tagging was certainly wrong before.
But as long as the road layout is not finished, I prefer highway=construction. It's easier to find and update when new Sat imagery is available. Therefore i retagged the roads as in construction again.

What are you doing here?

Hi Becky Candy,
mapping outside your tile is usually not a problem. You can just check in the tasking manager to see if anyone is working nearby. If you draw the roads to the end, you can avoid a lot of follow up mistakes.
From highway=motorway down to highway=tertiary,
most of the network in Africa is already drawn. And there is little dispute left about the classification. To achieve good routing for the rest of the road network, we need to differentiate somehow. Highway=unclassified + surface=unpaved for all the rest of the roads, is of no use. In my opinion, only the few roads that should be prioritized for routing are highway=unclassified. The rest is either track or service. A highway=unclassified is by definition suitable for all types of vehicles as long as there are no limiting tags applied. I don't think that can be guaranteed for most of the roads here. Also, HOT ignores the tagging habits of people who have a long term interest in this area.
