This office has since been added as a node in 136246772, so I have reverted this changeset in 136519914.

To answer one of your "fixme", the one way tag on Bulwara Road/Ada Place is currently in the correct place in OSM. The City of Sydney notice suggests that the "U-turn" between those two streets might belong to Bulwara Road, not Ada Place as is currently in OSM. However there are no street signs, etc to confirm this.

This change you accidently moved Liverpool St, probably while panning around in the ID editor. I've fixed this in 136106398. I've left the foot=no change to The Crescent, however I would have thought that the existing sidewalk=none tag would have been enough?

Had to revert this in 134400002 as City of Sydney Open data isn't a valid source (osm.wiki/Australian_Data_Sources)

I reverted this changeset in 134399936.

I see you have listed the City of Sydney Open data as your source. To the best of my knowledge they haven't yet signed a waiver, so we can't use this data. osm.wiki/Australian_Data_Sources

bridge=*#Naming is pretty explicit that the bridge name belongs on the man_made=bridge object in this case. I did a survey of a few bridges around Sydney, and they vary. I guess no harm leaving the redundant info there.

Shouldn't we be removing all the bridge: tags from the highways, as they are defined on the bridge area? way/378280632

A few comments.
I don't understand the logic of why we don't have the pedestrian way on George St from Bond -> Bridge, or near QVB (Market -> Park)?
I think access=no is incorrect correct here, as there is pedestrian access. The newly closed parts (George from Hunter -> Bridge, including side street stubs) are blocked off with full width concrete barriers so zero traffic can get through - no local deliveries, no emergency.

You have used a building area here, but outlined the entire block when the building is only a small part of it. It would be better to draw the building size accurately based off one of the imagery sources, or if you just want to add the address just use a node rather than an area without a building tag.

Reverted by 131454456. This update is based off old imagery. Accurate survey based updates were made recently in 125920421, 125337580. More to come this weekend with the latest traffic changes.

On a related note, I notice that many of the tunnels near Haberfield are missing layer tags. They should all be layer < 0 right?

I had removed the highways, consistent with the other part of George St where there is no traffic allowed at all (i.e. between Market & Bathurst). The other parts which are currently pedestrian highways are do allow some local traffic. What is correct here?

I have expanded on this in changelist 128617784 - aligned ways with bridges and moved bridge structure tags from the ways to the new bridge object.

The bit around the lightrail wasn't a problem, but I didn't have time to careful split out the bits to revert. I needed to revert it quickly due to the big incorrect change near Victoria Rd. That's the area which is very misleading on any imagery. The three big "tunnelling sheds" are now demolished. What you saw was probably the new operations centre which is currently being built between the light rail depot and the tunnel entrance.

It seems you accidently deleted the amenity=restaurant and website tags. I have put them back in changeset/127464689, retaining your additions.

I'm also reverting this, as it also appears to be based off old satellite data, and is effectively rolling back other changes which have recently been made based on surveys. Please don't do changes in this area based off satellite data as it's well out of date and being actively maintained by mappers surveying on the ground.

126774212 about 3 years ago

I'm reverting this as I guess the source is old satellite imagery. There were major road changes here a few weeks ago. See 125920421, 125337580. This whole area is regularly changing so you shouldn't rely on any satellite imagery.

I agree building=detached isn't correct, but it does need a building tag. What about simply building=yes?
