Hey @Samira1224 ! You don't need to add the operator so please delete unless you've verified that that is who the operator is.

Hey @joshxt! Great job on adding the benches - for the trashcans, please remove the "operator" tag. You don't need to add that and since you use the short hand "dep of sanit." - it's not great data because it's not standardized nomenclature.

Also flagging that this light post looks like it's in the parking space - node/11057490906

Love seeing all the benches @janedoe1999 - One thing to note is that for all the information on the benches (here's an example: node/11057490795) - you should put backrest information, armrest information as tags rather than putting them in the description box. Example:
backrest = yes
armrest = yes

Refer back to the OSM tagging guide for reference too!

Also in the description, you put that there are 3 benches in a row with trashcans separating them. That's useful information but the description belongs only to this one point, not all three points. "Description" should only include details for that one point.

Also check out this greenspace (way/1190883846#map=19/40.70292/-73.94047) - looks like you added that this greenspace, in particular, is a community garden rather than a garden. Was this greenspace different than the others?

Great job @janedoe1999 ! Make sure that you align your polygons align with the imagery as well.

Looks like the greenspace ( way/1190883850#map=19/40.70274/-73.93993) currently overlaps with the footpath.

For land use areas, you do not need to name it "grass patch".

Hi Agent_Ibru!

The polygon for the playground already exists, so you don't need to add an additional point to represent it. For the accessibility information, use the wiki page to see the tags. leisure=playground

Here are some tags you can use rather than lumping the information in the description:

surface=* - grass, sand, rubbercrumb, woodchips etc
wheelchair=yes/no/limited if the equipment can be used by wheelchair users
min_age=* Minimum age of the user in years
max_age=* Maximum age of the user in years
operator=* - eg, the name of the local council or school
opening_hours=*

@mxxCon thank you ! Very informative. I'll make sure to reflect that.

Hi @mxxcon! Appreciate your insight - there's some benches in my neighborhood that are really long so I was wondering whether a node or way would be more appropriate since on OSM wiki it says you can represent them either way. I'll just stick with nodes - thank you again for the guidance!

Hi @jmapb, thank you for the comment! There are two pools within the Prospect Park YMCA. I'll attach their website to the tags as well : https://ymcanyc.org/locations/prospect-park-ymca/about. Since they're indoor, I estimated the position with my personal knowledge but how do you recommend mapping indoor pools moving forward? Appreciate the follow up!
