Further evidence that Academie was near Auburn/Wallen intersection: in the early 20th century, there was a school there known as the Sacred Heart Academy. It was acquired by the Diocese of Fort Wayne and South Bend and became the Sacred Heart Seminary. That building is now gone, but it can be seen on historic USGS topographic quads and on historic imagery on iMap.
Meanwhile, the area near Till Road and the former NYC RR grade, where the USGS says Academie was, was farmland in all available historical imagery from 1938 to 1999.

I know that "Academie" comes from USGS populated place data. However, to the extent that a place called "Academie" ever existed, this is not where it was.
If it ever existed, it was likely near the intersection of Auburn and Wallen Roads where a subdivision known as "Academie Addition" is. However, that area and this area are both now incorporated parts of the city of Fort Wayne.

I can't find any evidence in public records that this is, has been, or will be a park. Everything I can find says that it's private residential property belonging to the DeMayo family.
The water looks to actually exist on the Allen County iMap server, though, so I'm leaving that.
The boundaries don't appear to be accurate, but the only source I've found for accurate boundaries is iMap, and I don't believe their licensing allows me to "borrow" their boundaries.

The natural body of water is the pond at the southwest corner of Till Rd. and Pufferbelly Trail. If it's not natural, it's at least been there since the 1860s when the RR grade was created.

I originally created all of these polygons, and I tagged them based on information from the wiki, but I never liked how that made them show up on the map, or that I had to manually delete the "building" property each time. It just seemed wrong to me. User jgon6 edited my St. Vincent's polygon to "landuse: religious" which seems appropriate, so I edited the rest of the polygons I'd created similarly to match that one.

This edit looks like pure vandalism.

There's no water here.

Is this really a park? Aerial imagery shows a residence, and Allen County public access tax information (http://www.acimap.us/pati/) shows that it's private property belonging to a Michael John DeMayo.

It's not clear to me whether the entire building at 9809-9811 is 4EOS, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt since it seems likely that the original very rough outline was added by someone associated with 4EOS.
