It seems you keep remapping buildings according to their roof shape and placing the building area where the roof would be; This is a common mistake. I would suggest you take a look at the wiki page (osm.wiki/Roof_modelling) regarding this specific issue. Also be wary of parallax errors from satellite imagery, especially near mountains and inclines, as it warps the true shape of a building.

Why did it need to be removed? As far as I'm aware it was tagged correctly as a former railway using "railway=razed" considering some parts of the route still feature cuttings and embankments.
