Under the Treaty of Lausanne (Article 15) Imia and the whole Dodecanese cluster arrived in Italy. In addition, Articles 12 and 16 show that Turkey waived all sovereignty over all islands more than 3 miles from the Asian coast, except Imbros, Tenedos and Lagouses. As a result, it waived all its sovereign rights over the Imia, which are 3.7 miles from the Turkish coast. For the reasons mentioned, please proceed to revert this change to the previous status.
