It is unlikely anyone will see this, but, here is the answer to my question, likely known by most folks who see this.
find a changeset for an object
in JOSM
click on object (select it)
in "changesets" section of right pane
click for selected objects only
right click on entry with changeset number
select show info
opens a browser window to the changeset
can view, comment,...

Hi, Yes you are correct. Fixed it! I am new to looking at changesets. How do you find the changeset for a particular entry? From the web, I click on history and get nothing. I click on an object when in history and nothing. BTW, how did you happen to find this mistake? Thanks.
