Nathan here from BTCMap.org.

This was clearly not thought through enough and doesn't meet the OSM guidelines.

We're now working with Galoy on a better process going forward and will consult with you. We prefer manual, verified edits of course.

If adding currency:XBT, you should probably remove payment:bitcoin as the later is a legacy tag.

Consider payment:onchain=yes if you know on-chain payments are accepted.
