I didn't survey the area before, as I have seen too many similar cases/informal trails with just activity on Strava heatmap.
However, I will exclude this particular trail since you are sure that it is not a trail actually and adding informal trails in this area is against law of the wilderness.

I know that this is not a formal trail.
However, there is a heavy walking activity on Strava which determines that it is a walking trail, as I have seen many similar cases in other areas.
I see that "Black Pond Bushwhack" trail is tagged as access=no
So, maybe hikers are using this informal trail as an alternative trail.

heavy strava's activity determines that those are walkable/accessible trails.
USGS lidar shows them as connectors between large trails, which makes them useful for users.

according to some previous discussions with experienced OSM mappers, it is OK to add informal trails that physically appear on the ground.

I have added those informal trails based on Strava heatmap, USGS 3D Elevation Program, and satellite images which are reliable sources of OSM.
I think it is better to leave a comment for me to let me know about those trails before you just delete them.
please, let me know about those legal reasons for closing those trails.
