I agree with your rationale. The Panek CR, while owned by the Town of Boxborough is managed by the Harvard Conservation Trust and BCT. If you think that distinction is not worthy of its own nature_reserve area, I could understand and support that. It is true that folks don't really care about that distinction. But just like they don't care about the Shurtleff Woods distinction (owned by BCT). Who really cares are the groups that worked to protect the parcels, not the users :)

But there is one more consideration. The Panek CR was a bargain sale (10% of Fair Market Value) which merits some type of acknowledgement through naming. Should that be reflected on the map?

Hi Tom. These two parcels have unique deed restrictions in the form of a Conservation Restriction. You will see many different parcels that form the conservation area. They were added at different times and have different overseers and conditions. Having them ungrouped allows for easier management. For example, today, BCT and HCT are monitoring the Panek CR (only) and it is really helpful to have these boundaries available when using our GPS apps.

Hero. What was the method, in case I ever need to use it in the future. I was using OSM's iD editor and the Merge function. It appears to create lines from the ways then adds relations. I can't visualize how that then caused the issue. I don't want to repeat the mistake.

Ugh. I created a problem that is beyond my understanding to resolve. The northern site is way/29777925. The pond way is 146991795. Not sure how to delete the relation/8047785.
