Hello @ukrainian_tourist !
Can I ask you about this route you added -
way/1211894393#map=15/36.85049/30.48929
On the satellite view it looks like it's going up a cliff :) but perhaps you could say if it's definitely accurate (presumably it is) and what's actually there as the hardest features (if it's readily walkable I might go by there some time myself too).

I suppose this quote on the web reflects the problem - "Plants of the Mediterranean scrub
The Mediterranean scrub may be divided into tall scrub, with well-developed trees that can provide shade and humidity to the undergrowth, and short scrub, made up of impassable shrubs and bushes, called garrigue. This biome contains evergreen broad-leaved and aciform trees, including: holm oaks, arbutuses, olive trees, laurels, carob trees, pine trees, junipers, cypresses and others. It also includes shrubby plants, for instance rock roses, mastic trees, myrtle and rosemary. "

Yes, I had a plan to somehow adjust them by refining areas with taller trees, however the park is currently closed to do so until the autumn due to the fire season. But it's not that simple because much of this sort of habitat in Antalya is not like western woodland but is halfway between scrub and wood - mostly tall bushes, but there are some areas particularly near the edges that are more treelike, so it's a bit complicated...

For this military camp, Sarısu Askeri Kamp, I was there today on the east edge, and whilst it has fences further inward to stop the public, I didn't see any fences or restrictions on the east part.
I am thinking, would it be better to move the east edge inwards? I can do so if you don't see a reason not to.

I'll see if I can give it a better shape. I was down there the other day. I think my main problem is trying to understand what a scar actually is in order to give it the right outline - the definition I've seen is an exposed cliff, whereas what I see at the places called scars are horizontal rocks... maybe they are the tops of small cliffs that have been filled up to the top with the sands...

Hello! I think you mean Black Scars... I was looking for some of the land points people were using in describing walks across the sands such as to the chapel, and found they weren't on the map. I noticed them on old maps at the NLS map site although I couldn't tell how much was above the sands they are nowadays, but because people were referencing them I've put them in, without much certainty of shape. I drew a long narrow area here because the old maps had them spread (gappily) across a long narrow area, but I probably made it smaller to reflect uncertainty about how they are seen now.

Would there be any appropriate way to record somewhere on the item that it is the former St Mary's RC church, as it does architecturally stand out as a church (pic at https://www.genuki.org.uk/big/sct/MLN/Ratho/StMarys1 )

Link there got shortened, see https://edinburghcouncil.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=9dfa229ba4004f7ca642ed3bd9702094

Oh I forgot to join it in! Thanks for spotting it early!

Hello, yes I was told a while back when I had asked that the church just opens once a week although I've never passed it when it's open, I can recheck.
The buildings I tend to want to square a bit later down the line if they stand out - I tend to get them in first, separating the two tasks. But you're right I could sometimes do it at the time.
Thanks for your thoughts!
