I do believe the constant updating of ways also mean that some issues may arise in relation to systems editors may not see that are on the 'deep web' ie, internal systems.

Again, can you not change tags on items which are temporary, as routing engines as well as maps do not constantly update and are discouraged on OpenStreetMap

Temporary objects are strongly discouraged in OpenStreetMap, many maps which you may not see on the internet obtain their information from OpenStreetMap which may not be regularly updated. Mapping temporary areas is discouraged because of confusion which may arise when map servers, especially on internal organisation servers are not updated

Please refer to osm.wiki/Ground_truth and osm.wiki/Good_practice#Map_what's_on_the_ground in regards to mapping objects which are proposed but may never be constructed. While it is a good idea to map proposed map objects, you will find that this needs to be done with caution by not mapping places which either construction has not started or will not start in a reasonable timeframe.

As there is no agreement between OSM users, please apply common sense in mapping items which are proposed and avoid any sort of fantasy mapping

Hi, a spur line is a piece of track which branches off another line and then ends. This line is still used, though not by in service passenger trains.

Hi, I don't recall any proposals mentioning a third track through Yarraville, there however is provision for a third track at the Francis St bridge however that dosen't need to be tagged
