Changeset When Comment

That is a typo. Sorry... Should be confession_times. It is a new key. But may be changed to service_times:confession in the future. See the current wiki for info. confession_times=*

Okay Sam...

Hi Andy, I disagree with you. My comment was not rude. It was justified. His comment was rude, bordering on bullying. You don't just tell people what to do without first introducing yourself and giving a good reason for the request. If he had given me a decent explanation, as you did, I would have agreed without question.
Yes, in the future, I will limit my changesets to one continent. I did not know it was causing problems. Regards,

Well, first of all, who are you to be telling me how to arrange changesets?
What is the source of your authority?
Why are you interested in the composition of my changesets? Why are you asking me to do this, and what business is it of yours?
If you can give me what I consider to be satisfactory answers to the above, then I will consider it.
Otherwise, I have no intention of limiting the breadth of my changesets just to suit your personal preferences.

Hi,
Thanks for replying. Yes, I thought someone had better take a look at these since it was my first time trying my hand at editing boundaries. I get thje theory behind inner and outer relations. It's just a matter of getting them right and it is very hard with iD because you can't see the whole relation at once.
This whole episode started when I was looking at a couple areas in OSM inspector. It said that there were a few touching rings and I thought I could fix them. Then I noticed that the Tiger data lines from 10 years ago had boudaries running all over the place through back yards and across neighborhoods. I thought, well I can't fix anything until the lines are in the proper position, so I started aligning them to better see what was going on.
And yes, I was using the online county map as a guide. When I click on parcels there It tells me when they were last updated. And it was only a few days ago. And if maps don't agree, then it becomes a matter of who is right and who is wrong. I would think that the county would be the proper authority, sisne that is where deeds are recorded. After getting your message, I did find the online St. Peters map and there are slight differences. In the future, I will compare the two and resolve any differences before making any changes I can't find info on when they update theirs. And when I click for parcel info on the St. Peters map, it links to the county map. What leads you to believe that theirs is more accurate?
I did download JOSM and am trying to learn how that works. But the way OpenJDK renders it, it is kind of hard to use on my system. (Fedora 27). It probably needs to be updated, but I like to get things from the repo and I just have to wait for them.
As for being done, where I am right now, it's kinda like debugging a script. You think you might be done, but you don't know for sure until you run it. Then if there's bugs, you try to squash them. And the only way I see to run my changes is to upload them. Then wait 24 hours for Geofabrik to come out with their daily .obf, build it with OsmAnd Map Creator and see what I've got.
If you could tell me if there is a tool I could use to check changes before I upload them, that would be a big help.
In the meantime, if you could point out exactly where I made the relation mistakes in my last edit, I would be happy to try to fix them. Otherwise if you just want to patch them, you certainly have my permission, and it won't hurt my feeling a bit LOL.
As for Old Knaust Road, yes I had to move it out of the way to get to a boundary I had to move and forgot to move it back. It will be fixed with my next upload.
On balance, I think the changes I made were an improvement in the O'Fallon region. I tried to stay away from St. Peters because I noticed you had just finished that. But it does touch O'Fallon in some places. I am sorry if I messed something up. But if I don't try things, I'll never learn. Thanks for the help.

Thank you. Please feel free to go ahead and fix any of my goofs. You're not gonna hurt my feelings. Appreciate the help

Thanks again. I think it's attached now.
Tagging the building is my preference also. But someone else had already put the point there without drawing the building, and I hate to change someone else's work unless it's a safety issue, and I know that it's frowned upon to have both labels for the same thing. But if it's okay, I'll go ahead and merge the point into the building from now on. Only thing is, point labels seem to get rendered better than building labels on the nav app that I use, but maybe that's just particular with their renderer. I'll go ahead and keep tagging the buildings. Thanks again

Well I can sure see why you like to keep an eye on things. You have obviously put a lot of hard work into this and you don't want it messed up.
I appreciate the offer. I did some work on the lowe's at Zumbehl. I did the exit onto Clay with some turning lanes. If you get a chance would you check that and tell me if that work complies with conventions? In the meantime, I'll try not to delete any major roads. lol

Yes I did. I noticed it and fixed it before I got your message. I try to double check my work. But thanks for calling it to my attention. I'm relatively new at this and I do try to be careful, but I'm just as human as anyone else I guess.
I've seen a lot of your work. You do good stuff!
