It looks like the location in OSM is aligned with that map and I do see what appears to be a path in the USGS 3D elevation program imagery, though the connection to the main path appears very faint if even there. My guess is it is overgrown / unmaintained.

Apologies, I realized you commented on path 1427740482. That came from the map posted on the Durfee Hill Management Area information board on Putnam Pike. That land is part of a co-op, so I have not been able to hike there and that path in particular was based entirely on that map overlayed with imagery. The map's been there for years so it is possible it is outdated.

There are two disconnected "Durfee Hill" areas in Glocester. The one off Putnam Pike and this one off Reynolds Road. I've hiked both, through Reynolds is not well maintained and the entrance is hard to locate. I'll plan to recheck this summer and take GPS traces. I've had to double check with street view the few times I went to relocate the entrance.
