Sad that you can arbitrarily decide which places can be on the map and which can not and in what hierarchy.

Ps to NKA: Who decides and why do you think you know who has local knowledge and who doesn't? That is monopolization and claiming ownership over a wiki, which is not acceptable.

Thank you NKA. I will work with other mappers interested to push and carry out a significant modification of the places in Oslo since it is clearly left behind and lacks any reasonable organization. As I replied before to "Tractor" it is always sad when a wiki gets monopolized and let feelings interfere with improvements and good-intentioned colaboration.

Disappointing, but not a surprise to read your message. Although I wrote a conciliatory post in private to open for improvement and collaboration, you decided to ignore that and focus on a small detail stubbornly and authoritatively. But again, that is not a surprise considering the tone of your first message.
I will put it simply for you, so you don't evade the real issue here, and you can answer straight forward: Do you think it looks correct that Majorstuen or Tøyen stay at the same level as Meyerløkka or Jordal?
The wiki definition is not set in stone, and most of these places were created before there was even a definition there. Apart from that, the wiki looks monopolized.
So it is open for modification and debate.
The fact that you and NKA have worked on the map and are emotionally attached to its current status is not a valid argument but a fallacy. Nobody owns this content, it doesn't matter if 99% of the work is yours. This is a typical example of monopolization of wikis.

Hei Tractor,
First of all, I regret that you believe my edits are vandalism. I have no reason to intentionally destroy others' work, and I think it is not correct to accuse me of something that serious lightly. However, I understand why my changes could be worrying for you. Even though I believe I am 100% in my right to reverse your changes back to my edits, I will abstain from doing so or from continuing to edit to explain what I am trying to do.
I have not created a mess, as you say, but instead, trying to fix the anarchy and lack of organization in Oslo's suburbs and neighborhoods. There is no distinction between different entities. A visual inspection of the map, as it is now, shows places like Frogner or Grünerløkka (bydeler) at the same hierarchy level as Bolteløkka or Meyerløkka. You can see that in Oslo's official maps, they are not labeled as similar entities (https://od2.pbe.oslo.kommune.no/kart).
I have been trying to set the Bydeler at the suburb level and the Delbydeler (https://www.oslo.kommune.no/getfile.php/13206466-1490274686/Tjenester%20og%20tilbud/Politikk%20og%20administrasjon/Statistikk/Geografiske%20inndelinger/Delbydeler_20170214_A4.pdf) as quarters, following the guidelines of the same link you posted, places that do not show in the official map I was leaving as neighborhoods.
So, I think trying to improve details, in good faith, following official maps can not be considered vandalism. Since I would like the Oslo map to improve, and I think you can see the lack of organization now, I believe it is possible to reach some consensus on this topic? Maybe my mistake is to be too strict with the legal and official subdivisions in disregard of the daily use of names. Do you see any path to improvement? Do you agree that it is incorrect that every place node in Oslo is at the same level even if OSM offers different classification levels?
