which clearly show “No Thru Traffic” signs at both ends of the road.

According to OSM policy access=*#:~:text=destination-,Only,-when%20travelling%20to, the access=destination tag is appropriate for roads where travel is restricted to local traffic only, as indicated by signs like "no thru traffic" or "local traffic only" in the USA. This tag does not imply that the road is private, but rather that it is intended for destination traffic only, not through traffic.

Thank you for reaching out. I have added access=private tag according to “Private Road. No Thru Traffic” sign on our ground truth imagery 2024-04-10: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NSW65CBhqEvxNQPmXPEeTqm-b9_BIc8_/view?usp=sharing, located 42.35071, -71.06502.
Unfortunately, it's not possible for us to individually confirm each change in person, and doing so isn't required for mapping in OSM. But in this case we also have a Lyft driver’s feedback from Jan 4th 2025 that it is a private alley. Undoubtedly, local data is extremely valuable and always holds more significance than other information. I would greatly appreciate it if you could share why you consider my edits incorrect.
