In this case I've added the extra node for a more precise location of the rest_area zone. After further analysis, I believe that extra information is not necessarily needed, so will delete that node. Thank you for your inquiry!

Thank you for your feedback. The reason I've changed the type of this link is that I was following the OSM rules of classification for _links. Usually they have the higher classification of the intersecting highways, in this case would be secondary_link. (osm.wiki/Highway_link)
