It's usually better update a node with shop=vacant or disused:amenity=restaurant than to delete the nodes. This helps preserve the history: osm.wiki/Keep_the_history

place=suburb does not mean suburb in the typical usage in American English, see the wiki here place=suburb. Bde Maka Ska-Isles is an official community, which is made up of several neighborhoods

Wade's Bayou is the name used in signage in Wade's Bayou Park including a historical plaque. Maybe official_name=Douglas Bayou would be better

They're paved in the sense they're not unpaved, they're improved ways with easy rolling for wheelchairs, suitcases, etc. I did my best not to overwrite the surface if a more specific one was already specified. If you have knowledge of specific sections, please add it, although surface=carpet is quite rare

Just bumped into this. place=locality doesn't feel right either since it's supposed to be for rural places with no population. I wonder if it would be better to bump the official neighborhoods to place=quarter, and then use place=neighbourhood for unofficial named districts like Dinkytown, Uptown, St. Anthony Main

I added these bike lanes a few months ago in changeset/176676539. I don't see them in any aerials yet, so it's best to wait for that to map them separately. The tags on the road should also be changed to cycleway=separate when bike lanes are mapped separately

Hi, I think this is a parking=lane, and any parking mapped separately should be mapped as an area. That's why there's a warning on this changeset.

The wiki advises it's easier to add the parking tags directly on a segment of the street, see parking=lane#How_to_map

Is this still a trail? I don't see it on their current trail map and I don't remember seeing signage for it last time I was there

I think bicycle=use_sidepath was added precisely because there's a separate cycleway. In Illinois, cyclists are required to use the bike lane when one exists

It's generally not necessary to add separate tags for common abbreviations like Avenue -> Ave, see osm.wiki/Names#Abbreviation_(do_not)

Thank you for the imagery. I think the signage placement is misleading, but as far as I can tell, drivers going south on Park Ave can make a left on Washington Ave. The effect of your change is to prohibit left turns from SB Park Ave onto EB Washington Ave. If you have recent imagery that shows there's a no left turn sign from Park Ave, that would be more relevant, otherwise there should be a no-left relation added from WB Washington Ave to Park Ave instead of the oneway tag on this segment
