2 days ago | Hi, thanks for adding to the map. Please note that this sort of information doesn't fit in OpenStreetMap. If there's a memorial or physical presence that others can confirm (like the George Floyd memorial/square), that's the appropriate thing to include in OSM. If you're just trying to show other folks what's going on, you might want to check out https://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/. I will delete this.
11 days ago | Hi there. Thanks for adding to the map. The data you contributed is available for anyone to use, but the default map view on osm.org might not render items tagged with amenity=waste_transfer_station. You can see it if you visit way/1462986247. Keep up the great work!

about 1 month ago | Hello! Thanks for updating the map data. Note that whether or not a map dot appears depends on which provider produces the map you're looking at. OpenStreetMap doesn't control that. If you provide the URL for the map you're looking at, I can help point you in the right direction.
about 1 month ago | Hello. Thanks for your work on the map. Typically roads leading to parking lots or schools should be highway=service or highway=unclassified, not secondary. I've adjusted this classification for you.
about 1 month ago | Gotcha. Thanks for updating them!
about 1 month ago | Was this one in the wrong spot?
about 1 month ago | Remember to expand road directions/prefixes in the name. e.g. W 78th should be West 78th.
about 1 month ago | Hi! Thanks for making change on the map. If a building isn't there anymore, you can delete it instead of changing the name like this. If there's construction happening (or another building in its place), feel free to map it to the best of your ability too.

2 months ago | Ok, no problem! I'll remove this one.
2 months ago | It looks like you placed this camera in the middle of the turn lane. Can you describe where you saw it so we can move it to a more accurate position?
2 months ago | I personally tend to prefer places as nodes, but there isn't a hard-and-fast rule. Sometimes when the building is exclusively used by a single business it makes sense to tag the shape, but in most cases it makes the most sense as a node. The web editor has a feature where you can right-click on the shape and use "Extract" to pull the place information out onto a separate node. Also, check out the app "EveryDoor" or "StreetComplete" to make mobile mapping easier.
2 months ago | Hi Ian! Thanks for taking the time to sign up and update the map. One small bit of feedback: When entering an address, the street name should match the name tag on the road. We usually try to use expanded road names without abbreviations, so it would be "7th Street West". Also, Brake Bread is really good and now I need to go down there to pick some up...
3 months ago | Thanks for keeping the map up to date. The point you moved is on the wall of the building. Is that where the entrance for your office is? Typically we put the place point inside the building and have a separate point for the entrance.
| 173931914 | 3 months ago | Did this building get destroyed or the address removed?
