If there's a memorial or physical presence that others can confirm (like the George Floyd memorial/square), that's the appropriate thing to include in OSM. It looks like you placed this camera in the middle of the turn lane. Can you describe where you saw it so we can move it to a more accurate position?

I personally tend to prefer places as nodes, but there isn't a hard-and-fast rule. Sometimes when the building is exclusively used by a single business it makes sense to tag the shape, but in most cases it makes the most sense as a node.

The web editor has a feature where you can right-click on the shape and use "Extract" to pull the place information out onto a separate node.

Also, check out the app "EveryDoor" or "StreetComplete" to make mobile mapping easier.

Hi Ian! Thanks for taking the time to sign up and update the map. One small bit of feedback: When entering an address, the street name should match the name tag on the road. We usually try to use expanded road names without abbreviations, so it would be "7th Street West".

Also, Brake Bread is really good and now I need to go down there to pick some up...

Thanks for keeping the map up to date. The point you moved is on the wall of the building. Is that where the entrance for your office is? Typically we put the place point inside the building and have a separate point for the entrance.
