Cool. I posted a couple questions on the proposal discussion, two of which relate very directly to that feature.

That depends on what "drop" is going to mean in the new scheme. Is a rollable drop "0?" Or is it the total vertical distance to next part of the trail? If you only mean the lip, the edge of the shark fin is just far enough off the ground to give you a pedal strike. If it's the whole distance, I'm not good at estimating. Maybe a meter?

I was mistaken when I said I thought I had mapped an MTB jump line. That was in Fairland Rec Park on the Holly Loop. Sorry about that!

Glad you still had the pictures. :) I've definitely been to CJ since 2020, but I didn't know about the A-Frame. It's great when features like that get mapped.

Best,

It looks like the old `designated` tags predate my tinkering with CJT, possibly added (haha) by you!

I haven't been to CJ in a bit, but my hazy recollection was that they had those brown wooden posts with the access types carved directly into the wood. I won't bring back the `designated` tagging without confirmation.

Didn't one of those trails have a MTB jump line mapped previously?

It's my understanding (and feel free to correct me!) that the default implied access for a `highway=path` is `yes` for foot, horse, and bicycle; and that only where the real value differs should one add explicit tags.

I think I used to have `designated` values here that someone removed, and I decided not to fight them about it.

The museum already existed on OSM as a building a few yards south. Do you want to move your tags?

This broke continuity of the Rachel Carson Greenway trail.

I don't think extracting the bike lane into its own cycleway is the accepted way to approach buffered lanes.

See cycleway=*#Buffered_and_protected_bicycle_ways

I don't think that's how you mark up lines on the ground.

For the "Outdoor seating" near the Medical Center bus area, would that be better characterized by benches or picnic tables? The outdoor seating tag is typically for enjoying comestibles more than for generic sitting and waiting.

I support this. =)

Are they still here? The website lists a different address now.

Thanks for catching that. You're right about what I intended with the `payment` versus `charge`. The parking itself is not publicly accessible and goes with the group campsite permit. BUT maybe I should move the fee from the "parking" (which is how it was counted for me) to the whole nature reserve area, since it's an entrance fee to the whole area.

I've spot checked maybe 6-8 that I thought might be identifiable from satellite. Most have been deleted. Some indeterminate. This church appears to be right across the street from its imported location: node/358284478/history

Found another one 5 miles away from its real location.

I made them separate sport site relations instead of North/South names. changeset/135152782

I had golf holes that had both ref AND name, and you wiped the name, even though it wasn't just a number. That was kind of annoying.

If by "complete" you mean "open," not at all. In iD, we don't have an option for "Mapbox Aerial Imagery," only "Mapbox Satellite," but that picture (which lines up nicely with the OSM ways) was taken before the construction started.

I'm not actually certain what exact route the roads will take in the future, but they haven't finished with the tunnel underneath that is the source of the construction in the first place.

Thanks! I would have scrolled right by it, but iD has special outlines for certain surfaces now. =)

Is Douglas Ave really paving stones? That seems kind of unlikely to me.
