Hello VincenteBarraFM, the resource you've provided does show that street "Profesor Alberto Zañartu" is now an eastbound only roadway. Thank you for this relevant information and for working to correct the OSM data.

Hello Agus K,

Thank you for choosing to contribute to the OSM project. I want to bring to your attention some duplicate features that you've added (way/1164312149 & way/1164312148). These features already had ways corresponding to the roads they're meant to represent. When adding route relations, it's best to use the ways that are already present in the data, and to split them as necessary to match the extents you require. Here is some documentation from the OSM Wiki which may help to clarify mapping route relations and the single element policy: osm.wiki/Relation:route#How_to_map ; osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element ; highway=* .

Hi Muralito, thanks for reaching out. Maxar SecureWatch Imagery from 2023-01-07 does not show any signs of construction, do you know of any resources that would detail these construction projects? That would help model this area appropriately until construction is done. Thanks!

Hello G626, thank you for contributing to the OSM project. I noticed that the European route E 86 was significantly reworked by this changeset, but cannot find any support of the new layout in aerial imageries. Would you please explain the source which has prompted these changes?

Hello naufalsyauqi,

While mapping in the region of Jakarta I noticed a pair of lift gates which were added by you in May 2019 (node/6463610519). These gates are tagged with the access=private tag, however it appears that vehicles are traveling through the intersection without being stopped by the gate, according to this imagery: https://openstreetcam.org/details/2362750/572/track-info. Is it appropriate for these gates to remain marked as private access? Thanks for looking into this.

I would not entirely disregard that thought because the usage for u-turns (“retornos”) is correct. My understanding of the OSM wiki guidelines (osm.wiki/Highway_link) is a highway link should be used for ramps, separated turn lanes, and u-turns. However, if the u-turn is additionally a crossing surface street, then use the standard highway classification (as suggested in the last paragraph here: osm.wiki/Highway_link#At-grade_intersections)

I noticed here (https://osmcha.org/changesets/86551221/, way/777901314) you changed a couple highways at intersections from typical highway classifications to highway links. According to the policy for highway links (osm.wiki/Highway_link#At-grade_intersections) these should not be links, but rather their normal classification. Is there a reason why link is preferred? Thanks.

De acordo com a política para links de rodovias (osm.wiki/Highway_link#At-grade_intersections), estes não devem ser links, mas sua classificação normal. Existe uma razão pela qual o link é preferido? Obrigado.

Hello Pt873! I would like to discuss the data in Sao Luis since we appear to be editing the same roads. I noticed here (https://osmcha.org/changesets/86551221/) you changed a couple highways at intersections from typical highway classifications to highway links. Also, I noticed you have been adding additional ways at intersections (https://osmcha.org/changesets/80238516/ & way/767783534) which are not too common elsewhere. Are there specific local policies that you are referencing for these changes? Thanks!

Hello Angys,

Thank you for reaching out regarding the roads in Seremban. Lately I’ve been working on adding new roads to this region, especially at new developments. Typically I can add roads if pavement has already been lain down in these areas, and is clearly visible in the aerial imagery. If you have any specific latitude/longitude coordinates for areas like this, I can look at them for possible additions.

Also, Maxar Premium and Standard appear to be the same in the region of Seremban, is there any notable reason why you would suggest Maxar Standard?

Thanks for the feedback,
hayes9
