Hello Mariotomo, I was trying to add proper classifications to some of the “highway=road” ways. From my perspective of the Bing imagery it seemed like track but I can agree with any of the classification you suggested as well.

Hello Mariotomo, I was under the impression that higher classifications should not dead-end in towns. After consulting with a fellow editor, I now know that isn’t a hard rule that can be used in all countries. I can reverse some of these edits, unless you wish to do so.

Hello Mariotomo, Thank you for filling me in on this, I downgraded to unclassified because it was residential going through Aguadulce. I’m okay with either classification.

Thanks for the response. I don't know if anyone from our team is attending SOTM Oceania. Thank you for your help.

Hi,
Thank you for adding data to OSM. With this import, some existing roads became disconnected from the road network. For example, way/734522412 and way/734522413. I see you are fixing errors in your recent changesets. Are you able to fix all the unconnected highways too?

I see your point, thanks for bringing it up!

I can see how that makes sense in the scenario. Thanks for the input!

I removed the service=driveway tag because this feature doesn’t seem to qualify as a driveway per the OSM policy: “The main ways on the parking lot, connecting multiple service=parking_aisle should be mapped with highway=service only” service=driveway. Let me know what you think?

Thanks!
