Hi urbanworkbench. It looks like over the course of your edits you removed a lot of highway=track and highway=path tags from these ways. Do you mind if I add them back in? This area is not exclusively used for skiing, so having the large tracks mapped appropriately is good. I did a bunch of work on the Nordic Trails a few months ago to get them into a workable shape, although there are a lot of tagging improvements (highway=path, bicycle=yes, foot=yes, mtb:scale:imba=___, etc.) and single track improvements that can (and should) be made to the area. On a related note, for mountain bike trails, it is recommended to use highway=path, not highway=cycleway - see here for an explanation: osm.wiki/Mountain_biking

I'll add the missing tags back in a few days, unless there is some extra info that I am missing here (please feel free and inform me - I am always happy to learn!).

Thanks for working on the OpenStreetMap project!

It just seems remarkably odd and somewhat detrimental to mapping consistency to map just one driveway in an area with literally hundreds of long driveways, just because the individual living at this residence happens to create more Mapbox accessible telemetry data than their neighbours by (if I understand the algorithms correctly) turning on a network connected routing device before leaving home. It totally makes sense to be adding service roads based on Telemetry data in urban areas around businesses, but I can't help but wonder about adding seemingly arbitrary driveways in rural areas.

This is just a driveway (one of many in this area) going from the public Gardom Lake Road to somebody's house that is entirely on private land (according to BC Parcel Map data). Unless there is something I am missing here, I do not think this should be mapped, and it certainly shouldn't be mapped as publicly accessible.
