While it is a designated “cycleway” state park, it doesn’t convey a lot of information about the actual path, which varies considerably over its length. The relation makes it clear that it’s a big cycle path - see it on OpenCycleMap or Waymarked Trails - but most “cycleway” designations I’ve seen are for off-street designated, mostly paved, cycle paths. I could be swayed either way. I rode the Columbia Plateau Trail and there were many sections that required hiking over boulder-fall, around hampshire gates, and on big ballast rock. I’m particularly interested in details about the surface to plan routes. |
