Hey Matthew,
I've physically ridden those rides on my bike.

I use an awesome app called Wandrer. It uses OSM to show which roads/paths are rideable to gamify the map. You then ride the roads and with integration to strava. Wandrer shows you've completed each suburb.

So if I get to a road and can't ride it, then I'll mark as access private if gated community or as bicycle= No.
