This path was used for long, then a private sign appeared. I checked with chemins.be and it appeared the wood owner is known to be annoyed. The private sign appeared at the same time there and on the parallel path east side.

If the private sign disappeared, it's probably that someone has removed it, but certainly no the wood owner. You may suggest a correction on this path (preferred compared to changeset comment, since accurately target the problem).

I will check for the private sign again on next visit.

PS: chemins.be cannot claim any public path there, nothing at "Atlas 1841" and nothing at the "Cadastre". And since it was not referenced, we can't get witnesses for a free passing there for the required 30 years.
