Do you have an example? crossing=uncontrolled is additional information and not contradictory to crossing=marked.

I believe most of what I was adding were new crossings, but happy to add controlled/uncontrolled.

Agreed Warin.
Thanks.

Removed it as I am not sure what happened there.

Thank you! Good reminder for me to check multiple image sources. This was an ML derived crosswalk, but on 2021 imagery. I saw it in two of the imagery layers and assumed it was still there. It did not appear in Esri's layer.

Hmm actually tried again and it looks like the extra imagery layer was shown.

Either way, I'll keep an eye out and make sure to use Mapbox or Esri.

Just checked again now. The tag defaults to reference the first imagery layer you had open. It doesn't matter if you change it.

I'll create an issue to see whether this is something people want addressed.

Hi Mxxcon,
I'm pretty sure I was using Mapbox for a lot of this, but the imagery_used tag looks at the first imagery layer that you had open. I'll make sure to update this tag with whatever the main source was.

I also use Mapillary and Bing Streetside imagery as much as possible to get a more recent ground truth.

Thanks for catching that Philip! Good spot.

I have no problem with these edits being reverted on those grounds. Are you aware of a discussion somewhere on the pros and cons of adding tags to the roadway relative to mapping the cycleway separately.

Totally makes sense Anil. I guess it is a fairly generic hashtag in the year of 2020 ;)

More information on Map2020 can be found here:
https://www.mapillary.com/map2020

We'd be happy to walk you through it on webinar, although applications to participate officially ended on the 26th of March.

Hi Anil,
I noticed you're using the #map2020 hashtag a lot. I was wondering if you were aware of the #map2020 campaign Mapillary and HOT are running which uses the same hashtag.

Thanks for correcting @tastrax. Will be wary of that next time.

Baloo, I was a bit confused by the instructions in this MapRoulette task. I interpreted that they wanted the hospital tagged so that they know which hospitals have helipad facilities on or nearby the hospital. Did I misunderstand the task?

Thanks BCNorwich. The #mapillary2osm challenge was meant to encourage the addition of benches detected by Mapillary, only if they were benches there.

And definitely not encourage situations edits like this. Thanks for deleting.

Thanks @Supaplex. The data quality is good. Many points of interest that can be added so I will do my best to help out.

It's a fun challenge trying to deal with Traditional Chinese characters.

Ah oops. I should have known that given I pass close to here almost every day. Thanks for being on top of it. I checked a few satellite imagery sources but they must all be a older than 2 years.

Haha yep. This could take a while.
