I couldn’t find any documentation outlining what the preferred classification would be here so I based my decision on a general search of the area which showed that similar intersections of minor roads with highways such as [way/1503398006] and [way/1503398005] took the classification of the lower road. However, I also notice there is some inconsistency with link classifications and I am fine deferring to your preference. The imagery I cited from Vantor 2026-07-14 does show that there is a split in this road though so I will update this intersection with the more current modeling and follow your suggestion for this section being classified as a trunk link.

Thank you for reaching out. I thought the section of trunk looked a bit odd so I updated the classification to keep it consistent with the northern and southern sections.

I can see that there are at-grade intersections here though so I agree with your reversion on this section of road.
