Why did you shift the Refuge boundary to mean high tide? NWRs extend to mean low.

Hello again scott, I hope you're having a great week. I added way/1100653702 because there is a foot path there that I've used many times. I apologize for not adding a source and access tag onto that path. It is on private property (the yacht club) but is commonly used by people accessing the abandoned rail causeway for fishing. I'm not sure what the best tag would be, as the MYC doesn't seem to mind, but I'll label it as 'private' to be safe.

Hi Scott,
I added way/1163980497 because it is a maintained service road used by the city. You are welcome to change it if you feel I tagged it inaccurately.

Hi Scott, thanks for all the questions. Sidewalks such as way/131818344 (Way:Tukey's Bridge Sidewalk) are generally tagged as Footways, not paths. I tagged it as bicycle=no because there are signs that say bicycles are not allowed at either end of the walkway. I cannot answer your question about way/1125535205 because you have already deleted the way so I do not know what it was. I hope you have a great weekend!
Warmly,
Drew

Hi RVR015,
The bing imagery (the only high res imagery available) was taken at low tide, where as coastline data should be mean-high tide (see: osm.wiki/Coastline#Tagging_coastlines_in_OSM ). In this region of maine, tidal swings are 12-14 vertical feet and can cover a large horizontal distance. As such I did my best to trace the tide line by the seaweed, water stains on the rocks and wrack deposits on the beach. This is not exact, and would benefit from a gps trace or a trace of high res imagery taken at high tide, but these islands are remote with restricted access.
Cheers,
Drew

Hi Scott?
How should they be connected to other paths? Path #1059668500 runs from a soccer field to an abandoned railway.

Hi tmerc,
I was wondering why you put the salt pools as inner relations to the salt marsh area. the pools themselves are still within and part of the salt marsh.
best,
Drew

wow that's really cool, great work! i love old new england stone walls. that must have been pretty tough bushwhacking? I worked on a scientific study on the beavers living in cart creek in 2015. its a cool forest.

did you actually hike through MB to map the old walls?

Hi there
It looks like you broke the coastline of several of the isles. I'm a little confused what you did wrong, as your coastline ways seem complete, but they have disappeared from the renderer.

I was under the impression OSM was for tagging everything unless implicitly decided by the community (eg elevations are not tagged). I have tagged the dumpster as private to better improve it’s usage. Cheers, Drew
