As it is mapped currently the part of Rue Jeanne-Mance west of this barrier is unreachable. Maybe it is a pedestrian area now, or it is no longer a one way street

I tried to find publicly available street level imagery, but unfortunately there is nothing recent enough.

Hi, thanks for finding that. It means I should have taken a break from mapping earlier :P It was a mistake while entering name, I typed over the key instead of the value in the dialog ;) I have fixed it, along with the street next to it where the same happened.

Forgot to add TIGER as a source. I used it for street names.

Hi Prino. Thanks for your contribution. I just thought I'd offer a tip since you said you where unsure of the grass outline because of unclear imagery. In iD you can choose the background layer "PDOK BGT standaardvisualisatie", which shows the outlines from the official government data. These are usually very accurate and can help a lot if imagery is unclear.

Bedankt voor je bijdrage aan openstreetmap. Helaas heb je door de node weg te gooien iets te veel verwijderd. De juiste manier om een winkel te verwijderen is om alleen de tags die specifiek voor de winkel zijn te verwijderen en de node (met adres informatie tags) te laten staan. Het pand heeft tenslotte nog steeds een adres, alleen de winkel is hier niet meer gevestigd.
Het kan soms ook handig zijn om de tag "shop=*" te vervangen door "disused:shop=*" i.p.v. weghalen. Dan weten toekomstige mappers die de winkel zien op ouder beelmateriaal dat de winkel gesloten is en ze deze dus niet opnieuw moeten toevoegen.

Ik zal deze changeset terugdraaien, net als je changeset van de kringloopwinkel ernaast.

I see that you added a bunch of sidewalks to the map. However in many places they are not connected to the other sidewalks and the roads around them. This makes it so that routers send pedestrians along unnecessary detours (e.g. osm.org/directions?engine=fossgis_osrm_foot&route=51.422751%2C5.453937%3B51.423094%2C5.455197)

When mapping sidewalks as separate ways it is best to connect them at each junction by mapping the crossings. You can do this even if there are no markings on the road. As an example I mapped the crossings on one junction in the neighborhood: node/13206987412.

P.S. I realize you made these changes a while ago, so maybe you already know this by now.

Hoi Eggie, bedankt voor de feedback. Ik twijfelde zelf ook een beetje, maar volgens mij is mappen als een tunnel EN een brug niet correct toch? En dan past volgens mij de wiki omschrijving van tunnel=cuvert het beste. Maar ik heb er ook geen problemen mee om het anders te doen.

Bedankt voor het herstellen van de wandelroute, hier was idd iets mis gegaan. Meestal let ik hierop, maar was er toch doorheen geglipt dit keer.
