That was an error. I don't really leave things as "unclassified".

What you are linking to isn't saying all such trees should be marked. It's saying that, if the label is used, it should only be used for those things. We aren't talking about a botanical garden here (so, that use isn't relevant). Anyway, botanical gardens are a special case because they are hypermaintained and documented. They also have well-described limitations.

There are lots of trees in "outdoor parks" and "outdoor places". People will invariably miss many trees.

Since one can't document every tree, I think there should be something rather distinctive about the few trees one would be able to label. There should be some sort of reasonable/useful/natural thing that limits what trees get labeled. A lone tree in a large open space might be used for navigation or a landmark (it would make some sense to label this sort of tree).

As it is, these trees give a misleading impression that there are trees only here or that these trees are special The only way to correct that is labeling every tree. Also, such trees in other similar places are rarely (if ever) labeled. Nothing exists that makes these trees in this one location special.

Things like disabled spots shouldn't have been deleted.

Trees are a problem because it's likely you are going to miss many of them.. It also adds a support burden (updates to keep reflect new or removed tree). It's data that will never be quite right or complete. It won't be good enough for field planning.

I looked at that and the turnlanes-tagging plug in. That helps. I don't see the big red arrows that the gif shows (maybe, that was something added to the gif.

Crap. There has to be a better way of doing those edits.
