Hi,

Yes, that is OK with me. I've checked it now on mapillary but I could see no such sign (though the photos are several years old).

Kind regards,
Gergely

Hi Moritz,

this report came from a user - we work on a navigation app which uses OSM (magic earth), and we get frequent mails regarding map issues.

This user wrote: "Die Straße Am Schulacker von Egsdorf nach Zesch am See im Bundesland Brandenburg ist - schon seit mehreren Jahren - für Kraftfahrzeuge gesperrt. Fußgänger und Fahrrad i. O."

I checked on Google Maps for confirmation, and Google also avoids this road when planning for cars.

If it's a mistake, then please revert it.

Kind regards,
Gergely

Hi, you duplicated several addresses with this changestet, f.i. this:
node/9602656892
versus this:
node/8918436290
I will remove the duplicate addresses.

Please fix these ASAP before I start deleting them! OSM is not something to look at, it's something for navi apps to use! And the many ISOLATED foot areas BROKE the pedestrian navigation!

Please do something, these areas broke the routing in our navigation app!

The current footway areas are not connected, so if I'm matching to one, I cannot go to another one, cannot cross the street etc, in fact I cannot make routes!

If you are able to go from point A to point B as a pedestrian, then OSM should have a connection between them! Now there are lots of isolated islands!

Great, thanks!

Hi, thanks for the info, I updated it

Hi, maybe it's not 100% correct, but it's pragmatic. I usually put addresses near entrances, i.e. where you enter the property. Why: so that route planners can find the correct destination if you plan a route to that address. There are many cases when OSM-based routers end up behind the building outside a fence, or on a dead end road in a field, just because it's closer to the polygon. TomTom maps have a "foot point" for every address/POI so the correct destination is always found, but it's a quite frequent problem in OSM.

If you know it better, you are free to edit it. Thanks!

Hi Arndt! Indeed; I removed the tags. Thanks for reminding me!

These names were fake. I have now deleted them. The clown who made these should be banned from editing.

Hi,

I got the following feedback from a user (we are developing an OSM-based navi app):

"Wrong fix speed camera (130km/h) on the road N7 near position 49.77019031 / 6.08656594 => this camera does not exist at all (but well the one with max. speed 90km/h very near on the same road)"

Do your sources list 90 or 130? The 90 camera should be added, but I don't know its exact position.

Hi Michael,

OK, understood. I will add the oneway info again once the cleanup work is done.

Kind regards,
Gergely
