I am riding a bike with bags and taking shelter in a shop is not an option for me. Knowing there is a shelter few km ahead is very useful to me, even if it is an overhang roof. But all these are relative to everyone's needs.

I've seen showers on map, but they are inside a sport facility. That might be useful for someone, not in my case. Depends on perspective.

Shelters on the road, most times bus stops, are not accurately pinned to the exact location because i add them while riding. If a poi is easy to see from several meters away, I am not to concerned with placing them to the meter. Drinking water is usually very accurately placed, toilets and showers too because I stop there.

The first one 14113242947 is a generous open gallery at the ends of the building that can provide good shelter for the rain. Second one is probably bus stop, can't remember. I was there 2 weeks ago but was not logged in to osm to upload on the spot.

It's good to know the name is optional. I would be on outdated maps for a while. What's better, add POIs only for the few that aren't already on osm or just don't upload anything until I update the maps?
