You are correct, gates prevent cyclists from using it. but it does appear to be open to walkers. I have changed it to a footpath temporarily. When it is fully open, someone can change it back to footpath and cycle way and make it NCN 12, together with the section of footpath that runs parallel to The Ridgeway. Do you think that's OK?
