Thanks for identifying and letting me know. I had missed to check the road history before extending the road. I've corrected the issue under changeset #79272845 according to the latest imagery.

Thanks for correcting the edit. This usually happens when 2 editors are working on the same segment. We usually get an error notification in such cases, I'm unsure why hasn't iD pop-up an error while saving this edit. We are working towards avoiding such duplication of work by auto-detection before saving.
